Salcombe is a uniquely beautiful seaside town situated in the South Hams at Devon’s southernmost tip. It is popular with visitors who come to enjoy seaside holidays, walking holidays and water sports all year round. The town offers a variety of accommodation and holiday homes are plentiful.
There is a wide variety of self-catering accommodation in Salcombe but our cottage is special. Uniquely, it is entirely run by the family, and certainly it is one of very few rental properties directly on the waterfront. It is a delightful early 19th century Grade II listed fisherman’s cottage at the water’s edge, in a sunny south facing position with direct views over the harbour and estuary towards East Portlemouth and South Pool Creek.
The property 19th Century, Grade II listed and is situated directly on the waterfront in Salcombe. It is also situated within a few minutes level walk from the centre of the village with its restaurants, village shops and other amenities including a ferry service to the sandy beaches. The cottage has a sitting room, large kitchen with dining table, two bedrooms and a bathroom. It has fabulous outside space with a lovely, sunny terrace over looking the estuary.
