I hope you got my message yesterday. I just want to say, again, how we loved the cottage and Salcombe and had a lovely weekend. The cottage was beautiful and I could have played house for ages! The location and everything in the cottege enabled us to have a very relaxing and comfortable time and looking out of the window at the boats sailing by was delightful.

We would definitely love to come again and will recommend to family and friends. In fact, while we were sitting on the terrace, someone asked what the cottage was liked and we were happy to sing its praises!

Another brilliant summer holiday in your Salcombe cottage – it must be our fourth year now! It has become a real family tradition for us to come to Salcombe and we would rather be here than anywhere else in the world.

We have been very fortunate with the weather and have enjoyed breakfast on the lovely terrace at the cottage almost every morning.

The children have loved playing on the beach and have built the most spectacular sand sculptures on Mill Bay! We were lucky with the tide and able to make our way round to the Bar on several sunny afternoons to body board.

We just love returning to the cottage after a day on the beach. We enjoy the last of the evening sun with a chilled glass of wine on the terrace whilst the children catch crabs over the sea wall. The record this year was 12 in one evening!

We cannot wait until next year!

We had very many happy holidays at no.9 & it will always be our favourite. We are now 80 so don't travel as much but if we think of coming back one day we will certainly get in touch.

Thanks again from us both for another delightful week at the cottage. We were spared a single drop of rain and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place outside the tourist season. As I said before, the addition of the shower is a real advantage and was certainly worth doing.
